Who We Are
Founded by Blaike Woodruff, Blaike’s background in human physiology, particularly in relation to sport performance, laid the foundation for his work in Strength & Conditioning. After graduating college, he began his journey in the field with a passion for improving athletic performance and a deep appreciation for the details associated with program design.
Over time, that passion expanded. Through the individuals placed in his life, his practice broadened and his approach to training was transformed. He began to recognize a growing need within the general population — not just for physical movement, but for prescribed, intentional movement tailored to the individual.
His mission evolved from focusing solely on efficient movement in sport to emphasizing efficient movement that equips individuals to better serve the people in their lives.
HEX Performance applies the principles of biomechanics and physiology to human movement. The same level of detail used in training high-level athletes is applied to each individual through a comprehensive assessment process, including joint range of motion, movement analysis, and medical history. These findings inform intentional program design tailored to each person.
Daily movements are broken down from a musculoskeletal and joint-based perspective to promote optimal movement patterns and reduce the risk of injury. This detail-oriented approach creates consistent, efficient training that builds confidence, assurance, and purpose.
Blaike has a deep compassion for those he serves and views his work as a calling. Through training, he seeks to glorify the Lord by serving others. Just as individuals prepare their minds and hearts each day, he believes the body must also be prepared. A strong body supports a strong mind — one that is equipped to endure life and reflect Christ.
